<\/p>\nThe SMARTBOX group, owner of the brands Smartbox, Bongo, Cadeaubox, La Vida es bella, Dakotabox, Emozione 3 & Buyagift, is the European leader in gift sets and marketing for experiential stays.<\/p>\n
My trip to Dublin and the meeting with the group’s teams (750 employees) allowed us to weave an agreement at 3 levels:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1) All establishments already working with SMARTBOX and being part of one or more boxes see the commission rate decrease from 30% to 27%<\/strong> since May 1st, 2019. So it’s 3% discount on all volumes made with them that you get back immediately. There are about a hundred hotels in our area that immediately benefit from this.<\/p>\n To give a numerical example I make between 25 and 35,000 euros per year with them on my hotel and I get back between 750 and 1050 euros immediately.<\/em><\/p>\n For the record, we have the freedom to accept the boxes whenever we want and I make 100% of my turnover with them outside July and August.<\/em><\/p>\n The more we participate in one or more packages, the lower our overall commission rate will be. It could go down up to 25%.<\/strong><\/p>\n 2) SMARTBOX will create for us a gift box in the name of “Charme et de Caract\u00e8re”<\/strong> at the estimated price of 149 euros and in which we will select 250 establishments that can offer at least one room in a B&B, even only in low season at this rate (refunded about 109 euros).<\/p>\n This box will allow our brand to increase our notoriety and will be sold on our commercial supports and during trade shows.<\/p>\n We will soon send you information about your participation in this box set that we want as massive as possible. If we select you, we will give you 10 days to decline your participation. Once again you will be free to accept or not accept guests’ requests and to open or not open rooms for sale.<\/p>\n 3) SMARTBOX will open to all hotels participating in one or more packages the possibility to create specific and sometimes punctual offers to destinations in their databases. Via their interface you will be able to create offers that will be relayed on their media and to their customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This partnership is an incredible partnership with one of the market leaders who recognizes in Charme & Caract\u00e8re a valuable partner offering quality homes.<\/p>\n Working with them can only bring in customers and revenue. You remain in control of the reservations.
